Statement of Faith

Welcome from Pastor:

We are so glad to welcome you to the Ministry web site of Soul's Harbor Free Will Baptist Church in Vinemont, Alabama. We are blessed to have the privilege of ministering to those who attend this church, Soul's Harbor Day Care, and Vinemont Christian Academy. Soul's Harbor is a loving, caring congregation that strives to reach the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We serve our congregation and the community in this unusual ministry. It is a joy to see people of all ages receive Christ as their Savour and then have the opportunity to disciple them in various aspects of Christian life. We invite you to attend the services and be part of what God is doing in this great work. Come visit us, get to know the people, but most importantly find the plan God has for you in life."

Gladly In Service for the King,

Kenneth Terry, Pastor/Adm

Soul's Harbor began in 1974 with founding pastor Rev. Dennis Reeves. Pastor Reeves had a conviction and vision for a church with a Christian school ministry. The next year, 1975, Vinemont Christian Academy began. Shortly thereafter Soul's Harbor Day Care was launched. In 2006 VCA home school ministry was added to the Christian Education program. Soul's Harbor has served many families since that time. Many faithful, dedicated servants of the Lord have been involved in these ministries over these past 41 years.

Pastor Kenneth Terry and his wife Marie have served the Lord at Soul's Harbor since 1985 and continue today. Soul's Harbor continues to minister to families and children in this God ordained ministry. Soul's Harbor is special place doing a great work for God.

We invite you to come and experience God's presence, and seek God's leadership in serving with us here.

Jeremiah 33: 3 is our theme verse,
"Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not."
